Ascension is the debut album by Northern California jazz guitarist Mark Anderman. Ascension features five original compositions ranging from the straight-ahead jazz of the title track, to the hard-driving funk of Without You, to the spacious orchestrations on Someday. Ascension is an impressive debut from an exciting and original jazz guitarist.
